Off-campus access to library resources is available to students and staff of the College.
- Enter your DACC user ID and password when prompted and you will be passed through to the particular electronic resource you are trying to use.
- Your user ID and password are the same login and password you use to: access Blackboard or your DACC email.
- If you experience problems using a library database from off campus, contact the library by email or by phone if it is during library hours.
- Provide as many details as you can about: the name of the database you were trying to access, any error message you received (and what point you were at when it happened -- had you actually gotten into the database?), and when it happened.
- Try troubleshooting it yourself with the following steps:
- Try using a different browser to see if you have the same problem. Are you using Google Chrome? Try Firefox. Using Edge? Try Firefox. If the problem is a setting in a particular browser you may find that you don't have any trouble when you try a different one.
- If problems persist regardless of your browser and you have a smartphone, try using your smartphone to see if the problem might be a setting on your computer or network. If you can access the databases using your smartphone, then you know the problem isn't with your account.
- Try a different database to see if the problem might just be one isolated to Primo 1Search or to a specific resource. In that case you might just need to wait a few minutes and the provider may resolve the problem.
