OER Commons provides higher-ed textbooks and materials (more than 50,000) from institutions around the world, including many vocational and technical resources.

A collection of 400 textbooks that are available through the library's catalog. CARLI (Consortium of Academic & Research Libraries of Illinois) is member of this network.

The Consortium promotes and provides access to OER with a focus on those elements of most concern to community and vocational institutions.

Saylor Academy produces online education that is free to learners. Materials in their courses are covered by Creative Commons licenses. Find a course and view. Content will include license requirements.

OER in workforce development. Reviewed by subject experts and developed in coordination with industry. A NAICS code wheel helps you find resources by industry or search by keyword.

You can search for images and some music using this tool. All content is covered by a Creative Commons license of one type or another.

This site links to resources from MERLOT, but its own content includes Faculty Showcases that give you the opportunity to see how faculty are using specific OER materials.

The general Education channel on YouTube. This includes videos for primary and secondary education as well as those for higher ed.

An eclectic cross-section of video, ranging from public domain cinema classics to propaganda films and advertising, corporate movies, news, animation, government videos, videogame previews and public uploads.

A curated collection of educational videos illustrating specific topics sponsored by the TED conference, many animated by top animators.

Educational videos, primarily in math and science, but also test prep and in the arts and social sciences.

A specialized materials search using Google. Not all results are freely available for use, however. You will need to check licensing restrictions.
