Student Photo IDs and Student Computer User IDs and Passwords

Dual Enrollment Students' Library Privileges

For your students to have full access to DACC Library resources, they need two things: a DACC Student Photo ID (their high school ID will NOT work) and their DACC student logon and password. Students need the actual DACC student ID card because this is what serves as their library card. In order to check out materials from the library, they need to present their DACC student ID at the Circulation Desk in the library.

DACC Student  Photo IDs are available at the Information Desk in Vermilion Hall near the main entrance. The Information Desk's hours are 8-5 during Fall and Spring semesters. During Registration, the Information Desk is open for extended hours. Call 217.443.8896 for hours during that time. Students must present a valid photo ID (Driver’s license, military ID, etc.) and a copy of your current class schedule in order to get their ID. Click DACC Student ID for further information.

DACC student user IDs and passwords can be set up online. They are needed in order to access DACC Library online resources from off campus. See important notes below.

  • Students must know their DACC student ID number in order to complete this process.
  • Instructions for setting up IDs are available online.
  • Students must click the button to "Authenticate with Challenge Questions" in order to proceed to the set-up process.
  • They also need to complete the step to Reset Password in order to finish the process.
  • For help with this process, contact: Computer and Network Services at the HelpDesk
